HIMCOM:- RIGHT PATH TO ENTER THE MEDIA WORLD


Heritage Institute of Management & Communication (HIMCOM) is an endeavour to accelerate the current education system and keep a momentum of innovation, discovery and development. The vision is to lead the young media aspirants in the right direction and the mission is to provide the required infrastructure, technology & conditions in order to facilitate a rigorous and creative learning and the applications of new and traditional skills. Whilst most of the Indian media institutes and colleges are focusing on or at-least managing routine syllabi and curriculum, chapter of media training and education through rigorous practices in the real media environment utilizing India’s leading news channels state of the art TV studios, Newsrooms, PCRs, Edit Bays, Graphics Bays, Teleport and the Automation System in addition to the professional classroom sessions by media giants from the Industry, Academics and allied subjects in order to instil a complete blend of knowledge, professional skills, motivation, responsibilities and ethics In our previous life, when we were running a Business Consulting Start-up, we always had interns from different colleges working learning & having fun with us. We loved working with students as they brought in tremendous energy and new perspectives into the company. At one point – we had so many students requesting for an internship at our company that if we had to accommodate anymore interns in our small apartment, we'd probably have to sit on each other’s lap. We thought - why not connect all these students to other companies looking for interns – we call this our Eureka thought.

We spent our initial days hanging around in the college canteens and corridors interacting with students to understand them and their needs.  The defined motto that HIMCOM is built on - "Listen to students, understand them, and give them what they need". A HIMCOM always believe in boosting up the capabilities of students in each and every field of communication that comprises print, electronic, online, electronic, acting, advertising, public relations, event management, crisis management, documentary making, scripting and many more.
