Double Celebration

FESTIVE THURSDAY

A festival of unwavering relationship, love and dedication of siblings, will be celebrated on 15th August. This time, after 19 years, the Independence day and Rakshabandhan have come together. The same coincidence happened in the year 2000.

With both celebrations falling on the same day,it is a reminder of how Raksha Bandhan is associated with India's struggle for Independence and is a  symbolic reminder that how Indians can united in face of diversity.

On Independence Day, people of the country celebrate the day by watching parade Live on television, while some hoist the national flag, special programmes and cultural events are held in schools and colleges.
While on Raksha Bandhan sisters tie Rakhi on the brother's hand and brothers give the gifts in return.

So, it is a week of celebration. On this occasion HIMCOM family wishes you all a very Happy Raksha Bandhan and Independence Day.

Have a Happy and Learning day
