Indian Independence Day

On 15th of  August every year India celebrate its Independence Day. On this day in the year 1947 India got freedom from Britishers. This day is observed with the hoisting of the national flag  followed by singing the national anthem, "Jana Gan Mana." Firstly flag hoisting takes place at red fort in National capital Delhi where honorable Prime Minister of India hosts the flag. After the national capital Delhi flag hoisting takes place every where around India. There are several events performed which includes parades, cultural programs, and patriotic speeches and songs  across the country. India's Bronze Triumph: A Glorious Farewell for Sreejesh

The match was a fitting farewell for Sreejesh, He bids goodbye to goalkeeping gloves after finishing his carrier with a bronze medal in Paris. India showcased exceptional skill and determination, and the hero of the match was undoubtedly our King, Sreejesh.  Sreejesh one of the greatest Indian hockey players of all time was in tears after  India clinched a thrilling 2-1 victory of Sapin .  His goalkeeping was phenomenal; he stopped every attempt by Spain proving that no one could breach his formidable defense.
