WHAT IF JOURNALISM DOESN'T EXIST ?

 

Journalism is a specific profession which do recognize people to re-write things, we usually don’t want to accept the truth that media has a different role in this whole universe. What if this world comes to an end & we are watching TV without any updates on what is happening in the outside world?

Let’s talk about some of the key factors that media plays in our day-to-day life:

·         NEWSPAPER- One of the most important papers in our day-to-day life even more than our exam sheet we start our day with a refreshing cup of tea & newspaper the worthiest duo. Reading newspaper makes a good habit and it is already part of the modern life. Newspapers gives us the knowledge about what’s going around us it provides news about a country’s economic situation, sports, games, entertainment, trade and commerce. Yes, it’s not looking that much important after digital evolution but people who know its importance still buying and reading.  And according to the Wikipedia India is the biggest newspaper market in the world and over 100 million copies sold each day.

 

·         RADIO – In old days when one wants to listen something good, they play radio it gives visuals only by listening to the voice who is sitting behind the microphone. When there is no access to the internet, people can still search the airwaves for trustworthy sources its advantages over other mass media outlets like the television, in terms of being handy, easily accessible, and cheap. As radio is cheap, it can be bought by almost everybody of our country not only this it broadcast about general awareness even discuss the information on various fatal diseases like cancer, AIDS, etc. What else we want in cheap & best?

 

·         DIGITALMEDIA – Nowadays if we talk about digital media or digitally how our society is becoming modern day-by-day. The rise of new media has increased communication between people all over the world and the Internet. It has allowed people to express themselves through blogs, websites, videos, pictures, and other user-generated media. We get to know every detail about this universe in such a short period of time while walking, sleeping & eating. In profound media eventually general awareness in people is becoming more actively these days.

 

-       Digital increases operations efficiency.

-       Digital improves business decision-making.

-       Digital improves customer experience.

-       Digital empowers employees.

 

·          JOURNALISM – What is journalism? What makes journalism a vast chapter? Let’s start from the beginning the first newspaper in India was circulated in 1780 under the editorship of James Augustus Hicky, names Bengal Gazette. On May 30, 1826 Udant Martand(The Rising Sun), the first Hindi-language newspaper published in India, started from Calcutta(now Kolkata) published every Tuesday by Pt. Jugal Kishore Shukla. Journalism has impacted our history for a very long time, without journalism the world would be ignorant because it gives current and relevant information and news to the public.

Society is nothing without journalism & journalism is nothing without society.
