Term wild life refer to the ecosystem in which undomesticated animal species live.
Mainly wildlife found in the deep forest where normal human can’t go. As time passes out quickly some of the wild life species are full extinct and some are in endangered zone.
Some of the species which are going to be endangered are :-
1. Snow leopard
The snow leopard live in the region of Himalayas and found in 12 country including China Nepal and Bhutan and India etc.
There are as few as 4000 snow leopards in the wild, and their numbers are declining heavily due to habitat loss and the impact of climate change. By the 2040 the total population of snow leopards will be declining by 10%.
2. Cheetah
Cheetah is the fastest land animal with the running speed of 80 to 98 km/h. Mainly cheetah are found in Africa and Southwest Asia. The coat is typically tawny to creamy white or pale buff and is mostly covered with evenly spaced, solid black spots. According to the researchers the population is approximately 15000 but as soon it will be decreased by only 9000 as soon.
3. Hippopotamus
The bite force of hippo’s are 1800 psi which make it more dangerous. According to the researchers the hippo’s are endangered because of the declining in their population.
4. Rhinoceros
Rhinos are the one of the oldest living species on earth. There are total five species of rhinos but two are fully extinct early.
Main reason of the endangered of rhinos are there horns and skin. There skin is used from expensive leather item and there horns is a symbol of royal item and sell in black market at high prices.
5. Blue Whale
Blue whale is the largest marine sea mammal with the weight of 199 tones and the length of 29.9 meters. It is basically found in north Atlantic ocean & north pacific ocean.
The reason of downfall in blue whale population is 3 million whales and dolphins are killed by the fisherman in China for oil. In 2022 Ocean and marine wildlife conservation initiatives (WWF) took some serious steps to banned the hunting of dolphins & whales.--Jaspreet singh (BJMC-VI)
