World Tourism
Travelling & Tourism fill your
life with adventures, not things
Have stories to tell not stuff to show.
Earth is a
most beautiful creation of God, filled with nature, different people with
different ethnicity and culture. But, there are very less people in the world
who understand and follow this unique feeling. Though our world population is
approximately 7 Billion but very less countries are there who participate &
promotes tourism as an important aspect of life in terms of communication &
development. Imagine, if Christopher Columbus wouldn’t have think about
travelling and tourism, he would never been able to discover America. Today on
27th September 2019 we are celebrating World Tourism Day with a
purpose to raise awareness on the role of tourism within the international
community and to demonstrate how it affects social, cultural, political and
economic values worldwide. However, people have different perception about
tourism as it being limited to holiday activity only for some people it is
travelling to and staying in places outside their usual environment. But, the
motive behind tourism should be linking the cultures and understanding them by
means of travelling which gives tourism an energetic sustainability. Being an
Indian I feel proud that India is the only country has been chosen by UNWTO
(United Nation World Tourism Organization) as the host country to celebrate
World Tourism Day 2019. As, we all know India is a country of cultural
Heritage, handicraft and diversified in many ways and It encourages the implementation of the global code of ethics for tourism to social and economic development while minimising it possible negative impacts. So, being an Indian we all need to promote this event and show the world that Indians are not far from being the best in the world in terms of Tourism.
Have a Happy and Learning Day
