Being a journalist is a challengeable profession and it takes courage to experience the thrill and roller-coaster journey in life. Everyday new challenges and tasks make an individual more sustainable and efficient to grow themselves in personal and professional life both. Journalism is a field where a candidate gets several options and opportunities to build themselves and if you are willing to be dedicated, passionate and hardworking towards your profession then journalism is the one for you.

·         Lack of trust – Nowadays, in modern media the most concern thing is maintaining credibility as a trusted news source and fighting against fake news. As per the survey the most recent and biggest issue in modern journalism is struggling to get provident and accurate stories.

·         Climate crisis – While working on field the most common issue faced by journalist is climate hazardous. Journalism is one of the field were you have to work in every climate whether it is heavily raining or deadly heat like dessert doesn’t matter. The most crucial role when a reporter has to cover news during earthquake, flood or any natural disaster.

·         Time flexibility – If you are into journalism then skip the concept of 8 or 9 hours duty! You have to cover stories at any given time if your stories will be not fresh then your competitors can easily target the market. It is a profession where you have to step out from your comfort zone.

·         Language barrier – Most of the time when you are into outdoor shoots you have to travel different states and India is a country where more than 100 languages are spoken so you have to deal and communicate with the people around you. If not language then you have to be little familiar with their place & culture so that it can make things bit easy.

·         Political Pressure – Sometimes it become difficult to cover political conspiracy. Most of the time when a journalist comes up with some dark truth about any political leaders or parties then they have to deal with life threatening challenges. Being unbiased is what journalism stands for so it’s common to deal with such risks.
