Chandrayaan-2 सफल या असफल?  15 जुलाई 2019 ऐतिहासिक तौर पर खास दिन था| भारतीयों के लिए गर्व की बात थी| सुबह 2:51 पर Chandrayaan-2 लॉन्च होने वाला था|  चंद्रयान-2 देश को उपलब्धी देने वाला था, जिससे भारत चौथा देश होता जो चांद की सतह पर सॉफ्ट लैंडिंग करता| Chandrayaan-2 चंद्रमा के साउथ पोलर रीजन पर एक सॉफ्ट लैंडिंग करने वाला पहला स्पेस मिशन होगा|  यह पहला भारतीय मिशन है जो घरेलू तकनीक के साथ चांद की सतह पर सॉफ्ट लैंडिंग का प्रयास करेगा| Chandrayaan-2 के लांच के पीछे कई खास मकसद है माना जा रहा है कि धरती के बाद चांद पर भौगोलिक अधिपत्य की होड़ में अग्रणी बनकर उतरेगा| ऐसा अनुमान लगाया जा रहा है कि 2022 में प्रस्तुत भारत के अंतरिक्ष में मानव मिशन गगनयान मिशन का रास्ता सफल होगा| इसरो द्वारा सूचना मिली है कि Chandrayaan-2 में रखे गए पेलोड से मिलने वाले डाटा से वहाँ पानी और खनिज पदार्थों की मौजूदगी का पता चलेगा जिससे वैज्ञानिक की प्रयोग शुरू होगा| 15 जुलाई 2019 को लांच होने वाले Chandrayaan-2 को कुछ तकनीकी खराबी की वजह से रद्द करना पड़ा था, जिसे दोबारा 22 जुलाई  2:43 दोपहर को लांच किया
