The press event saw the presence of actor’s Shraddha Kapoor, Ankur Bhatia, Siddhanth Kapoor and director Apoorva Lakhia. The Festival of Light is all about celebrating the victory of good over evil, light over darkness., knowledge over ignorance and hope over despair. On the occasion of auspicious Diwali, Himcom continuing the tradition of Diwali Puja with entire family. All  the students participated very enthusiastically , Deepa Rana(BMC-1) and Pratik Chordia (MMC-1) proved their talent and walked away with the title of Mr. & Ms. Patakha .To mark the onset of Diwali, Rangoli competition was held between BMC-1 and MMC-1. Both the classes designed colorful rangoli with beautiful patterns.

HERITAGE INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION organized a visit to Parliament of India on 11th October, 2017. The purpose of the visit was to make students aware of how the proceedings in the Parliament takes place. Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim and Zaira are coming back with another power-packed performance in Secret Superstar after making a groovy film ,Dangal. When Aamir Khan was asked about Zaira, he said that she is the best female actor in industry.
