Generally, skin falls into five categories: normal, oily, dry, combination, and sensitive. - Normal skin is well-balanced and not too oily or dry. - Oily skin produces excess sebum, leading to shine and possible acne. - Dry skin feels tight and may flake or itch. - Combination skin has both oily and dry areas, usually oily in the T-zone. - Sensitive skin reacts easily to products and environmental factors.
