These injustice and discrimination are taking place in terms of education, gender inequality, employment, clothing and others. In Indian society it is very common to face such biasness in terms of modernization and education.
This
day was established on 24th of January, 2008 and as per Women Ministry and child
development the motive is not only highlighting the prejudice, exploitation and
injustice among girls but also to honor feminism and right for females.
In the name inequality and injustice with girls some
of the steps taken by Women Ministry and child development in Indian society
are listed below:-
·
Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao
·
Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana
·
CBSE Udaan scheme
·
Save the girl child
·
Reservation for girls in college and
universities
·
Free education provided to girls in
school
·
National Scheme of Incentive to girls
for Secondary Education
Such schemes and steps are taken by government to bring changes and awareness in Indian society and obviously the Indian population came forward to make this society a better place for girls things are getting better day per day, females are raising their voice for right to justice and education, even in employment sector they are getting the opportunities to compete with their male colleagues, they can wear what they want and comfortable with it, either she is house-wife or working professional both should be respected in the same ways. But we are still far behind in making this society a better and safer place for women. Every day new cases of crime took place, out of which more than half of the victims are girls. Our society needs to develop more!
