The Indian pair displayed exceptional composure and skill throughout the match. By the third series, they were leading 4-2, and their advantage extended to 8-2 by the fifth series. Despite a determined comeback from South Korea, which narrowed the score to 10-6 by the eighth series, Bhaker and Singh maintained their focus and clinched a comfortable victory.

For Sarabjot Singh, this bronze represents his first Olympic medal, a testament to his talent and hard work.

Meanwhile, Manu Bhaker has made history by becoming the first Indian woman to win multiple medals in a single Olympic Games. She had previously secured a bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol event, marking India’s first medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This historic win underscores the growing prowess of Indian shooters on the international stage and sets a new benchmark for future athletes
