Trip to Manali
It takes around 10-12 hours to reach Manali from Delhi.All wrapped up in my sleeping bag, I was trying to find comfort and warmth.
We were just 30km to reach and as is the trend with any road trip the last 30 odd kilometres wouldn’t just end! Exhausted and hungry we were so looking forward to reach our hotel room.Manali which people claim, still has retained its natural beauty and charm. After a short drive of about 8 kilometres through narrow winding roads, we were in front of our hotel 'Manu Palace' where in we got warmly greeted by the staff. Since we were very tired after the long drive, we decided to freshen up, have some quick snacks, explore the property and call it day. We were lucky to witness the fresh snowfall during evening when small snow flakes started to shower from sky which disappeared after it collided with us. Gradually, these flakes got settled on the leaves and branches of the tree painting them into white from green. It snowed for whole night and the temperature reached -8 degree Celsius during night. Next morning when we woke up, Manali that we saw on the arrival had turned into a snow paradise. Then we went to places like the most famous temple in Manali 'Hadimba Temple',
And Snow point were we did skiing n many more fun activities. After that we went back to our hotel.
After that day we had to say goodbye to manali but till then we had so much time so we all decided to spend some time in mall road. And I personally enjoyed this trip.
