DO & DON'TS FOR COVID-19

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new virus. The disease causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing.
As there is growing concern about the lethal effects of coronavirus, there are some do and don'ts that we need to put into use in our regular living so that we can overcome this challenging period very soon.




DO'S:

1. To maintain personal hygiene and physical distancing.
2. To practice frequent handwash with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand rub. Wash hands if they are visibly clean.
3. To cover your nose and mouth with handkerchief/ tissue while sneezing or coughing.
4. To throw used tissues into closed Bins immediately after using.
5. To maintain a safe distance with person during interaction, specially with those having flu like symptoms.
6. To sneeze in the inner side of the elbow and not to cough into the palms of your hands.

DON'TS:

1. Shake hands
2. Have a close contact with anyone, if you are experiencing cough and fever.
3. Touch your eyes, nose and mouth.
4. Sneeze or cough into Palms of your hands.
5. Spit in public.
6. Travel unnecessarily, particularly to any affected region.
7. Participate in large gathering, including sitting in groups at canteens.
8. Visit gyms, clubs and crowded places etc..
9. Spread rumours or panic.

Discussed above are the protective measures against this pandemic. We need to take care of ourselves so that we can defeat this battle very soon.
