The Scientific Tongue

Dating back to 1700-1200 bc Sanskrit is one of the oldest known languages to the world. Arya who invaded India from Central Asia somewhere around 3,000 years ago is known to be the earliest humans who used this dialect. Sanskrit can be found in the scriptures of Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. Influence and spread of Sanskrit can be seen in India, China, Japan, Tibet, Korea and Sout Asia. It is also somewhat akin to Greek and Latin in terms of grammar, phonetics and script.
Today's roots of the single most dominant language English are also found in Sanskrit. English have derived from a Germanic language which is derived from Sanskrit. Though many scholars don't support the idea of this derivation. English is a supple language and not only Sanskrit but its fountain is all full of words from Latin, Greek, Dutch and many more. One of the languages who has conspicuously derived from Sanskrit is Hindi.




James Hartzel, a postdoctoral researcher from Spain conduct an experiment in Delhi on Indian pundits who were specialised ina reciting Sanskrit shlokas and poems. They all went through MRI test and the results left scientists and researchers awestruck. Many regions of the brain of these pundits we're larger with extra gray matter than usual which enhanced their cognitive function. Along with it their right hippocampus, a region of the brain that plays a vital role in both short term and long term memory, had more gray matter.
Scientists at National Aeronautics and Space Administration also acknowledged that Sanskrit is the most scientific language on which the words are written as they are spoken and thought of.
Multiple researchers are going on to find out whether the chanting of Sanskrit mantras can help in curing diseases such as Alzheimer's. Along with that scientist at NASA have also stated that Sanskrit is most use full language for developing programming for Artificial Intelligence.
It is yet to know the depths and the secrets of this ancient and language. But many philosophers believe that this language can be the cure of many things.
